Tickets

🚗Parking at Epic Universe
Yes, there is parking — but here’s the lowdown so you’re not caught out:
- Standard Parking costs around $30 per day. It’s the most affordable option, but expect a bit of a walk.
- Prime Parking, which gets you closer to the entrance, will set you back around $50 per day.
- Valet Parking is also available, starting at $65 and up, perfect if you want to skip the walking altogether.

💡 Top Tip: Even with Prime Parking, you may still be walking 10 to 20 minutes, though tram service is often available to save your legs.
📷Snap a pic of your parking section and row number before heading in. Then favourite the photo on your phone — trust us, after a long day of rides and sun, you won’t remember where you parked!
☀️ And remember — it’s Florida! Some parking spots are undercover, but many aren’t. That means your car will feel like an oven by the time you return. A sunshade can make a big difference, ask your hire company about them.
What to Wear & Bring (And Leave Behind!)

The weather in Orlando at the end of May is typically 🌞 hot and humid, with daytime highs around 30–32°C (86–90°F) and night-time lows around 20–22°C (68–72°F), you will not freeze! You can also expect frequent 🌧 afternoon showers or ⛈️ thunderstorms, so it’s smart to pack light clothing, sun protection, and a poncho but never fear, you will be able to buy these all inside the park, for a price. The poncho might come in use on the friendly watercannon battle ride, Fyre Drill, located in the How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk land.
👟 Shoes matter more than you think.
Bring comfy walking shoes or sandals with serious grip (Make sure you wear them in before the trip!) You’ll be clocking up thousands of steps, standing in long queues, and dodging rogue buggies, do not come in flip-flops. The heat and walking may result in feet and ankle swelling, think hook-and-loop closure (commonly known as Velcro). I live in my Sketchers and wouldn’t consider anything else for this kind of need, I’ve got these in Blue and Beige. Walmart and Target always have great priced shoes.
🫨Super Nintendo World at Epic Universe is more than double of the size of the land at Universal Studios Hollywood.
🎒 Bag it right.
A small crossbody or sling bag is ideal — it’s easier to carry and more likely to fit into free ride lockers (available at most major attractions).
Avoid bulky backpacks unless you’re fine using paid lockers. Need all-day storage? Use the larger lockers near the park entrance. ⬇️ Go to locker sizes and locations
Must Wear:
☀️ Stick with light, breathable clothing (quick-dry is your best friend).
🌧️ Lightweight rain jackets are worth it if you’d rather not get drenched during pop-up showers.
🧢 Don’t forget hats (cover your neck), sunglasses (don’t bring expensive ones), and loads of sunscreen — many queues and walkways are in direct sun with limited shade.
🌡️ The UV index can be brutal, so apply more sunscreen than you think you’ll need.
👕 UV-reflective clothing is a clever pick — bonus: it’s usually quick-dry, too.
Must-Bring Essentials:
✅ Portable power bank
✅ Water bottles (one per person) – go for one that will keep your drink cold as long as possible.
✅ Cooling towels or neck fans
✅ Snacks (sealed and small are okay)
✅ Fully charged mobile phone – get your gadget insurance before you travel!
✅ ID, park tickets, hotel key card/app
🚫 What Not to Bring:
✖ Large coolers or loose ice
✖ Glass containers
✖ Alcohol
✖ Weapons or sharp objects
✖ Drones or remote-controlled toys
How to Survive a Full Theme Park Day
After many holidays to Orlando, we’ve learned a few essential tips that make navigating the theme parks — and especially Epic Universe — much easier and more enjoyable. Trust us, small things can make a huge difference!
🥵 Plan for the midday slump — Orlando heat and long queues can zap your energy fast. Schedule a sit-down show or indoor attraction around lunchtime for a break in the air-con. A chilled meal at the Atlantic Restaurant (with those rumoured-to-be-amazing views of Astronomica) is a perfect breather.
☀️ Sunscreen is non-negotiable. Reapply every couple of hours and don’t rely on shaded spots — they’re rare in Epic. Use SPF lip balm too (it’s often forgotten!).
💧 Hydration is survival. Bring a refillable water bottle that keeps your drink cold. You’ll find free fountains throughout the park. If plain water isn’t your thing, bring mini flavour squirters — a total game changer for picky drinkers.
🧦 Pack spares. Whether it’s a splash pad moment, a storm, or just hot feet, having a change of socks or a lightweight outfit in your bag can save the day — especially if you’ve got kids in tow.
🎟️ Lanyards help. Instead of fumbling through bags or apps, keep your park passes and Express tickets in a lanyard around your neck. It’s quicker, safer, and saves time at ride entrances.
👶 Travelling with little ones? Bring a small stroller, even if they “don’t use one anymore.” Tired legs hit hard by mid-afternoon, and it’ll also carry snacks and bags!
🎧 Noise-sensitive guests? A pair of ear defenders or noise-cancelling headphones can be a lifesaver during shows, fireworks, or in crowded indoor queues.
🧼 Hand gel and wipes are your best friends. Keep hand sanitiser or mini wet wipes ready — you’ll need them before snacks, after rides, and any time sugar or sunscreen gets messy.
🧊 Cooling towels or neck fans are brilliant. The Florida heat hits different — having a cooling towel around your neck or a mini fan clipped to your bag is a game changer in queues.
🚗 Don’t forget — you still have to get back to the car, shuttle, or hotel at the end of the day! Don’t burn out too early or you’ll be dragging your feet all the way home. 🥵

♿ Accessibility at Epic Universe
Epic Universe has been thoughtfully designed with inclusivity in mind, making it one of Universal’s most accessible parks to date. Whether you’re visiting with a wheelchair user, someone with sensory sensitivities, or a multigenerational family group, the park offers a range of features to ensure everyone can enjoy the adventure.
Wheelchair and ECV (Electric Convenience Vehicle) rentals are available near the entrance, and the park features wide, well-paved paths that make it easy to navigate through all five themed lands. Many rides are equipped with accessible entrances or transfer seats, and the Universal Orlando app provides detailed information on which attractions offer these features.
Guests with sensory needs will appreciate the expected inclusion of designated quiet zones — peaceful pockets of the park designed to offer a break from the lights, sounds, and crowds. Certain rides, especially in Dark Universe or Super Nintendo World, include clear signage with audio-visual warnings to help visitors make informed choices. If you’re travelling with someone who benefits from a calmer experience, it’s worth bringing noise-cancelling headphones or a sensory kit from home.
