Do both options support eSIM?

Drimsim offers both eSIM and physical SIMs , so you can activate instantly if your phone supports eSIM or use a traditional SIM if not. VOXI currently uses physical SIMs only .

Will my phone be compatible?

Most modern smartphones support physical SIMs, and many newer models (including recent iPhones, Samsung Galaxy, and Google Pixel devices) support eSIM. It’s worth checking your phone’s settings or manufacturer site before choosing eSIM.

Can I use two SIMs on one phone?

Yes — many phones support dual SIM (either physical + eSIM or two SIMs). This allows you to keep VOXI as your home SIM while using Drimsim for travel data at the same time.

Do I need to swap SIMs while travelling?

If your phone supports dual SIM, no swapping is needed — just set one SIM for data and the other for calls and messages. If not, you’ll need to switch SIMs manually, which only takes a moment. Just remember to pack the small SIM tray key (or a very thin pin) to open the SIM slot.

Will my number still work for texts and calls?

Yes. Keeping VOXI as your home SIM means you can still receive UK texts (such as bank codes), while using Drimsim for mobile data abroad.

Is this setup good for short trips as well as long-haul?

Absolutely. This travel SIM setup works well for short UK and European trips as well as long-haul or multi-country travel. VOXI is ideal for everyday use and European breaks, while Drimsim covers longer journeys and worldwide travel, so you’re always connected without changing how you manage your data.
